Aluminum Engine Cases

This is for anyone that has Aluminum Cases that haven't been painted or buffed out smooth. If you want that factory, (out of the mold) look, raw aluminum. I found what will clean it and keep it looking like it just came out of the factory mold. I recommend using a mag wheel cleaner. Know as Eagle 1. This cleaner is for the aluminum wheels that have no clear coating on them. If your cases are oily or greasy. You must first use a degreaser to remove that first. Then spray, (product comes in a spray applicator bottle), on the aluminum. The product will foam up as it cleans the aluminum. IT will not hurt your paint or your Chrome! This cleaner is also especially great for cleaning mag wheels like on a Sportster too. After product foams up, wait a few moments. Not that long that it dries on there and hose it off for a factory looking clean. If you put this on a smooth, buffed aluminum finish. it will turn it lighter and you'll loose the shine. But the metal can be polished with aluminum polish and you'll have the shine back with ease. I had in the past, used this product on my old style triumph motorcycles. People thought I painted my cases with silver paint. That should let you know what kind of results I had.
